There seems to be a never ending list of things to worry about. With gasoline prices hitting an alltime high of $4 per gallon in many states, finances seem to be a big issue for many.
We wondered, what is the most pressing issue on your mind as we head into the summer?
Health (15.5%)
Economy/finances (64.7%)
Your Relationship (8.4%)
Welfare of your family/friends (11.3%)
I am just worried about making ends meet right now we are living paycheck to paycheck and hand to mouth.
My husband is in Iraq. That trumps everything else.
Exactly, sleepyturtle.
My DH just returned from overseas and I am in agreement 100%.
It is one thing to struggle while your significant other is home with you, but a whole other ballgame when you have 4 kids under 4 and you are mom, dad, teacher, doctor, chef, and taxi driver all in one.
Blessings to you, sleepyturtle!
My health insurance is continuing to raise concerns. The coverage is less and the price/deductible is more.
It amazes me how I think I have extra $$$, only to realize it will be spent on fuel. It's proving to be difficult to keep things going, yet still live our life, and live the lifestyle we've become accustomed to.
I am lucky enough to stay at home to raise my 3 yr old...however I do babysit another child. At first it was just to make "my mad money" as hubby calls it but now I find it is to help make ends meet. With the price of gas and food going up I am thankful for the small added income.
I am a stay at home mom of a 3 year old, and I do day care out of my home as well! Since my husband takes care of our monthly bills, I chip in by buying all of the groceries and house hold products weekly. I have also learned how to use coupons regularly and buy when things I need are on sale. I will shop at 4 different stores and just buy sale items at each store.
Prices are outraegeous, gas, groceries, utilies, prescriptions, insurance. We're getting from all angles.
While the prices are outrageous for gas, food, just about everything right now and I do worry tremendously about all of these things on a daily basis, I believe the number 1 thing is and always will be HEALTH, because without our health.....we have nothing and all these other worries mean absolutely nothing!
Prices of almost everything are increasing, but the income for our household is not! Our country says that we place a high value on families, but the government and the work place does very little to help out families!
