How much time do you take for yourself to get ready (dressed, hair, makeup and jewelry) in the morning?

When you consider this question for yourself, you may think "in comparison to" who or when? For example, remember how long it took your mom to do her hair and make-up before she took you to school all those years ago (and wasn't a re-application of lipstick a must before entering the grocery store?). Another comparison point might depend on whether or not you were in an urban, suburban or rural setting. City-living women tend to prioritize outward appearance a bit more, as they've got a lot of inspiration for looking their absolute best on those bustling sidewalks.

I'm in the low maintenance morning prep category myself. Since I work from home, the main thing to accomplish is getting dressed and having breakfast in a timely manner so my dog and I can get a good morning, pre-work walk in. By getting an easier "wash & wear" haircut, taking showers at night, and so on, I think I've got it down.

How are things different for today's women? As you've gotten older, become a mom or just gained comfort in your natural "look," how has your morning routine changed?

1-19 mins|I'm low maintenance. I have to be. (27.8%)

20-30 mins|I like feeling like I'm starting the day on the right track. (41.5%)

31 to 60 mins|I give extra time to my hair and makeup, because "I'm worth it." (28.2%)

More than 60 mins|I may be going off the deep end, but I really enjoy my morning ritual. (2.5%)

    Some days I take my time and others I'm crazed to get ready and out the door. It really depends. I guess I prefer to take longer to get ready as I think it makes me look better to spend more time. My hair has to be right though! No matter how long I take, my hair is probably the thing I spend the longest on!

    I LOVE GETTING READY IN THE MORNING. I TAKE MY TIME PUT ON MY MAKE UP. I LEAVE THE HOUSE FEELING ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND CONFIDENT.

    I have 2 kids 2 and 11 and a farm to take care of. I am lucky if I ger time to brush my hair and get ready every day.

    I have short hair so it's fairly easy to take care of, I find the shorter the better, I have a routine I do not like to get off of to feel complete,, I must shave,legs, underarm everyday and I wear a uniform so it really isn't necessary, but is for me to feel clean, make up, not heavy dressed haidry then out the door in 1hr from start to finish! Up @ 530 out the door by 630

    I always shower at night so I can sleep a little longer in the morning. So, my routine is teeth, makeup, hair, perfume, clothes, accessories. I'm really picky about how my hair looks so I probably spend more time on that. (Have you ever noticed how many women don't pay attention to how their hair looks from the back?) As far as makeup, I never go anywhere without foundation, mascara and lip color, but usually once I get that far, I just do the whole routine.

    My routine is the same whether I'm on my way to work or for a Saturday at home. I like to look my best for myself.

    Im a mother of 3, I can take my shower, full make-up,dressed and jewerly all in a half hour. I fell better when everything looks good

    i hate rushing, so i basically just take my time. and i have a dog and he doesn't help matters; he always knows when i am going out and just hovers around me everywhere.

    I HAVE TO BE FAST WITH GETTING READY BECAUSE WITH A 3&4 YEAR OLD AND ALL OF US HAVE DIFFERENT APTS. DURRING THE WEAK SO ITS GET UP JUMP IN CLOTHES AND RUN!!!!
