I love a great mystery. Agatha Christie is an all time favorite.

I wish I had time to read more fiction, but with 3 young kids, I only seem to muster up enough energy to read the parenting books these days....

I love science fiction especially young adult science fiction which I read along with my son so we can discuss his favorite books. He is autistic and never showed any interest in reading until he went and saw the first Harry Potter movie with a friend. He came home with the book the next school day and announced he was reading this huge book. I'm ashamed to say I did not believe him based on prior behavior so I checked it out from the library to read and question him about it... suprised to find out he was reading it and has never stopped reading since! In our home - JK Rowling is knowns as Saint JK Rowling!

I love all kinds of books, from all genres. I purposely constantly branch out and try new authors, talk to people about what they are reading, what colleges are reading, even check from other countries. I carry a book with me every where I go, for work and fun. Just finished Mini-Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella & Satan's Sisters by Star Jones, watched Oprah and read Iyanla's most current, picked up and starting Toys by James Patterson, Jeanie Out of the Bottle by Barbara Eden, Summer and the city : a Carrie diaries novel by Candace Bushnell, and waiting on Physics of the future : how science will shape human destiny and our daily lives by the year 2100 by Michio Kaku to come in.

As well as non fiction, I also enjoy historical fiction. I could really use a suggestion for a new book to really grab me for a short vacation.. any ideas???
