I have said it once and i will say it again...you cannot provide health care to everyone and have all of the other programs not get cut or lose money. It is one or the other. Obama has added more to the debt than all previous president's before him have...in 2 years...that is alarming and I fear it is only going to get worse. Nothing to do with the parties...it is all about the man!

I chose Very Unstable because even though people are working, they are working in jobs that pay half what they did 3 or 4 years ago. People are working 2 jobs just to keep from being homeless. A lot of people are living on unemployment because they get more money from that than they would from a full-time minimum wage job. I'm extremely fortunate to have a job with a decent hourly wage, but I still have low hours and I could lose my job at any time. I do not feel secure in my job and if my husband lost his job, we would lose our house.

Green alternatives may sound great, but in reality they cost more. Windmills and things like that cost a fortune to create and maintain and in the long run don't produce enough energy to make it a realistic alternative. I am disgusted that the president says that gas prices are going to be about $5 a gallon by memorial day and to deal with it! That is a pathetic solution "deal with it." Or the other alternative he gave was to get a more economical car. I drive a corolla and can't afford gas on it as it is. I don't have the money to trade it in for anything more economical. Overall I am disgusted with the United States whole economic situation right now.

Did you hear that after gas prices went up, the oil companies have made a 40-60% profit this month alone....there's where the problem is. As far as some comments on green alternatives, I totally disagree that they will cost more and we should not consider this. After doing extensive reading on some of these alternative energies, I think it's the only way to go. They will not cost more in the long term...also we WILL run out of oil someday. Every service we buy will go up with the gas prices, so I think the economy is very unstable.

I am in the printing industry and many of my clients still don't have the budget for marketing. Unfortunately, my sales are also down.

American Homeless go without eating. American Elderly go without needed medicines. American Mentally ill go without treatment. American Troops go without proper equipment. American Veterans go without the benefits they were promised. Yet we donate billions to other countries before helping our own first.

It's a know theory that who ever became Preident after Bush would have a huge mess to clean up and would fail doing so. Who ever is elected for the next 4 year term (Obama again (if he runs) or someone else) will not do well either. It will be the 3rd term President after Bush that will be able to start bringing America and its people back up to being a powerhouse.

Most people in this economy are either unemployed or underemployed. There are tons of people in colleges who are graduating and have no jobs to go to. The economy is in the toilet.

I say unstable. I work for my local government and they are ridding out positions that exist within the county and are tightening up on the budget. My dad works as a used cars salesman and sold only 5 cars in two months. I think the market can improve, it just will take years- not something that is going to happen over night.
