    did mine in January. My father is a cpa and I work for him so I get it done for free. this year I got a huge refund because we had a second baby and installed energy efficient windows. then we lost our condo due to a job loss and did a short sale so I'm worried about next years taxes.

    The minute we get our W2's we're out the door! Got ours done promptly in January. That's about the only time we can get the "big item" we've wanted all year. We could use our credit card, but I try to avoid it! We carefully plan our use of the card.

    We kept putting it off and putting it off...finally got all of our paperwork to our tax lady last week...she is filing an extension for us and then gonna file them. This is the first year we are doing long form and have no clue what we were doing and we are freaked out because we always get a refund and we think we have to pay this year...so yeah, we procrastinated as long as possible! LOL!!

    Our accountant was super busy and it doesn't help that I waited until the last minute to contact her! She's a saint and will have them completed by Sunday!
