Is football still a man's sport as traditionally viewed? Is it a family event, or mostly for the men in the household? Is football-watching becoming more common for women, and is it appropriate for children?

We're Jaguar fans and though they didn't make it to the superbowl we still watched. It's the fall American past-time!
My Husband and I along with our children watch every Cowboys game.
Our whole family and some friends watched the Super-bowl and it was a great party watching the game and seeing the Packers win.
Watching the Super Bowl together has been a tradition in my family for years. We have LOTS of snacks throughout the day and then eat a home-cooked dinner together, in front of the TV, watching the big game! A few things have changed over these many years, as my children have gotten older and now have families of their own. My son, and his new family, usually stay at their house, since the game starts around the time my 6 month old grandson takes his evening nap. But, I am sure when the little guy gets older, we will all be together again.
I love football and so does my family. I am a cowboy fan my husband Raiders and the kids love both the teams...
my son likes football more than my husband. We hardly watched football, so the love for football grew on it's own
My whole family stops everything to watch the Green Bay Packers play.
Go Pack Go!!!!!
My husband watched and his team lost, for me I watched another show!
My husband and I (along w/the rest of the US) were totally blown away when the Seahawks beat the Saints so early in the playoffs! Being originally from Seattle, it was awesome...
