My "kids" are cats, so they don't play video games (no prehensile thumbs) . . . but we typically have weekly dinners/get-togethers where friends play Wii bowling or golf . . . go., "Team AARP" ( the current long-standing winner)!

We love playing and working out with our video games as a family. Between the Wii and now the Kinect (where we can be the controller). They get constant use in my household. Family time has definitely changed from when I was growing up.

We have lots of fun with the Wii........but recently one of the ladies who lives in the group home I work in bought an xbox Kinect. I have been playing sometimes while at work and have decided I am getting on for home with my tax check......I know the entire family is going to love it :)

My daughter and her friends are experts at all the games and consoles. With the exception of Wii. Not buying one. She however has been "introduced" to some games she's never heard of like Risk. I brought out my vintage game....and they now have all night Risk partys.

We just got Just Dance at Christmas and love it! It's great exercise. Now, our Saturday night routine includes friends who come over for "Wii" night!

Each night we play Nickelodeon wii fit plus as a family, it brings us closer and teaches our young ones to be active, and healthy, and to have patience. As a mother to a 6 year old daughter with autism, it's one if the few things we can get her to socialize and to communicate with the rest of the family. Since our children are all under the ages of 6, we keep our wii up and it's only played as a family with healthy active and educational games.

They have games they play by themselves (and so do we) but we also enjoy playing several of the Wii games together as a family and encouraging each other on the Wii Fit games.
