    No one can wait to eat my grandmother's stuffing recipe which I have now taken over. And then there's the turkey, cranberry sauce, pie.......

    My mother has this crazy idea of a "Thanksgiving" dinner with an asian theme...like teriyaki, sesame chicken, and on and on. I think it's asinine and would rather have a traditional Thanksgiving and stuffing meal :(

    Don't get me wrong, I love Asian foods more than anyone I know...just not for Thanksgiving :)

    We are Mexican so we do have turkey but also some Mexican traditional plates! I love the holidays!

    Yes we cook traditional Thanksgiving food. It is our (hubby & I) job every year to cook the turkey and do the desserts.

    There's nothing like keeping a tradition, it helps those that follow understand why things are done the way they're done. The look of the turkey at the center of the table reminds you of the holiday. It's symbolic. I wasn't a big turkey eater until my father introduced frying the turkey. It is soooo delicious!

    We alwalys have turkey but my hubands family likes ham so i do both.

    We always have turkey and ham. We cook as a family so we enjoy the familiarity of everyone having a certain item they prepare. It wouldn' t be the same with one of them missing.
