Do you prefer shopping online (vs. in stores) for the holidays? If so, what is the biggest reason?

For those of us who prefer to shop online for the holidays, there are many benefits.  You can shop at many online "stores" without fighting the crowds or driving all over town.  There is a lot of selection online, and the deals can be very good. 

What is the main reason you prefer shopping online?  Are there some holiday items you still prefer to buy online?  Let us know!

Yes, I like to avoid the crowds (20.4%)

Yes, I think there is more selection online (9.1%)

    I like shopping in stores , sometimes there are sales that are not posted or advertised ,I can then see the product and maybe have a coupon to use

    While on-line shopping is convenient, I still like the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping for the majority of my purchases. I love browsing in stores and looking at the beautiful decorations. Sometimes there are better deals available on-line for specific items, and I try to take advantage of those when I know about them. Overall, I like to be out in the stores to actually see and handle the goods firsthand.

    I like to be able to pick things up and look at them. I don't like the stress of waiting for things to arrive in the post

    I like shopping on-line because I can shop any time and at any store I want without fighting the crowds. My items are delivered right to my front door and I LOVE the excitement of getting something in the mail...even if it's going to be a gift for someone else:) If I do find a product online that I'm interested in and want to see it with my own eyes, then I know exactly which store I need to go to.

    I like shopping in the store because it is easier to return, if the wrong size, color, etc. I also love the decorations and going with my daughter or hubby and looking around. you never know when there will be a midnight madness sale or a special in store sale. It adds to the fun of the holidays.

    I like some don't like crowds. So I try to do all of my shopping early...........

    I like shopping in stores better than online. I start shopping in October to catch sales and avoid crowds.

    I have already started my shopping nad feel like i can get much better deals online than shopping last minute at a store.
