As a soon to be college graduate searching for a career in a faltering economy I can only hope and pray we voted for a capable man that can bring us out of this rut; and I believe we did.

I'm trying to be optimistic but the past 8 years have left me with a very negative outlook. Obama does remind me somewhat of President Kennedy tho and this gives me some hope for the future.

I think with any new president, they have to prove themselves worthy!

I will say this, his nomination for president does speaks volumes worldwide, especially where race and gender has been an noticiable bias in government bodies worldwide for a very long time. However, with the economy, and ongoing melting pot of issues relating to the economy, war, hunger, and conflict with the middle east, Venezula, russia, etc, he has got be someone who TRULY is about change and what he says he represents. There is so much at stake at this point worldwide, all government bodies, regardless of part affilation must learn to find a common ground to meet at in order to start the process to resolve the many issues affecting people around the globe..no one can afford any more bad decisons at this point in time anymore.

Although I did not vote for him, I am being optomistic that he will follow through with his promises and lead our country in the right direction -- up!

I am hopeful for the future, but realistic that it is very difficult to change this nation. I think he will put us back on the right track though!
