On January 20th, Barak Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. He takes this role, as the highest officer in the land, on the heels of a historic election and the midst of a crumbling economy and continued threats and tension around the globe.

I don't think any one man has the power to change the downward spiral our country is in, so I am not holding my breath. In the last election, I think we were choosing between the frying pan and the fire.

not sure. I feel the elderly and disabled will be left behind in favor of job opportunities and tax cuts.

I agree with a lot of you! with the situation the way it is it will be a rough head ahead of him to bring us out of the slump. we all have to remember he wasn't the one that brought us to this and have to give him a chance to improve the situations. It's a rough road ahead of him. All we can do is support him as much as we can, There's gonna be a lot of ppl that is going ot blame him for issues that he had not caused. We just have to be patient to see how he does.

I pray for our country and our new president. I have faith that although things are tough right now that the economy will get better and so will the lives of Americans.

I am extremely hopeful about our new President. I have faith that he will straighten our economy out and am praying that he will bring our troops home safely. I to am trying to be optimistic even though everyday I worry about what the future will hold. But I have High HOPES............
