I like to exercise when i am stressed out because it helps me release my frustrations. The only bad part about it is I end up really sore the next morning :)
Tuning out... usually by laying on the bed/couch and watching tv or playing on the computer/video games.
I hate that I turn to food for "comfort" in tough situations. I think maybe I do it to avoid the problem. I do eventually go to my family for help to figure the issue out.
I am an emotional eater. I am trying to change those habits and find a good walk or a talk with my mom or best friend helps the best.
I am a talker, however, I am also a eater. Trying to stop handling stress by eating because it is doing more harm than good (as evidenced by my expanding waistline).
Unfortunately, I eat when I am happy, sad, or bored!!!
I feel better just jumping on the treadmill for a good 25 minutes ;)
How come shopping wasn't a choice?!
My first way is to escape into a good book. Then talking/emailing friends or family.
I pray a lot when I'm really stressed..and sadly, I eat too..or listen to sad music and cry my eyes out!
