My husband and I have been together for 10 years but married for almost 2 so Valentine's Day is very important to us. Our passions for eachother has not diminished and we really hope it never does. taking one day a week is very important to us so when Valentine's day rolls around we get excited. Spending money is not an issue right now so we'll both get spoiled! :)
We'll probably have a "date night" being able to just stop life and spend time together is gift enough :)
Usually I just get my son some candy and some small gifts. This year I'll also be taking him to the movies and the family will be going to dinner.
My husband and I usually go out to dinner with the kids. Yes, with the kids lol. This year we have decided to stay home and cook each other our favorite dinners. We will have the kids make heart shaped english muffin pizzas for themselves, then early to bed for them. We will have some wine and spend some quality time together.
Our best valentine day gift was a cruise - not sure that we'll be doing that this year - but it would be nice.
Yeah, we'll be at Disney World with reservations at a very nice restaurant!!! My husband has never bought me a box of chocolates, I'd probably be mad at him if he did!
i didn't buy much, just a card and went to dinner.Might get my kids a little more since they are getting older.
I will be spending less as my income is less and I have adopted 2 preschool children.
Afraid to spend extra money this year, with all the layoff at work, I could be next.
We will go out and eat together and end up buying the grandkids a cute gift.
