yes very much, my daily diet includes yogurt with lunch and dinner and milk. which makes up for the daily requirement of calcium for the body.
I am always concerned about my calcium intake. I am not a milk drinker and tend to dsilike most dairy products. I have learned to eat non-dairy foods high in calcium and take supplements.
yes. i think all women are concerned about their calcium level since osteoporosis is a very common occurrence with women of older age. women who do not consume enough calcium in their diet tend to have a higher tendency to get osteoporosis so i try to have as much as i need everyday both in my meals and supplements.
I am not concerned, because I know I'm getting more than enough calcium on a daily basis. Not just from dairy products, but also from leafy green vegetables (which many people don't realize are a great source of extra calcium). I am not "afraid" to eat yogurt, drink milk, or have cheese on a sandwich. In addition, I get extra calcium each day from a vitamin supplement.
Not only the calcium level, but weight bearing exercise is important to maintain strong bones!
I have to Agree too ~ Calcium is a Big concern for me because I already have osteopenia. I try to eat right and also take supplements to make up for any extra that I might also need on a daily basis.
I was raised not eating or drinking a lot of dairy so I think i am more at risk for calcium deficiency. I try to take calcium supplements regularly and drink milk!
I know it is important to receive enough calcium in my diet; however, I'm not very good at taking my supplements.
I worry about it a lot. I drink milk maybe once a month (with cookies) and don't eat much of the other dairy products. I do try to eat green leafy veggies but I still feel that I am not getting enough. Both my parents suffer from bone issues and I am afraid if I don't make more of an effort in getting calcium I will end up the same way..
I drink milk on a regular bases. My family which is four of us go thru about five gallons a week. We all love milk.
