To be honest, I don't like either canidate very well, but I like the running mates better in both cases. Will probably vote for McCain, if I vote, since I really don't like Obama. Wish Colin Powell would have ran years ago.

Anybody but Obama, honestly I was praying Condolezza rice would be on the ticket, but hopefully Palin is a good pick. I like Mc Cain, but Romney would have been better..... Anybody but Obama!!

I feel that by chosing Palin McCain is only trying to clean up the Hilary votes. I feel that this is a slap in the face of women by implying that if we can't have Hilary we would vote for just any woman.

Palin is an awful choice and I agree this is just a ploy to get Senator Clinton's votes. Obama is a good choice. He has a great VP pick and is willing to listen to more experiance but not willing to keep the same old crap polcies in place. Wake up people we need change. I always voted Republican until now.

I don't like either choice for president. I wanted Hilary to be in. I am more likely to vote for McCain now because of Palin, but in my opinion, neither presidential candidate is a great choice.

+ I also agree McCain chose Palin to take away Clinton's supporters. - I have to admit, it is a good ploy!

I think McCain made a terrible choice. She has way too many skeletons in her closet, is closed minded, and lacks the experience to become president if anything happened to McCain. Team Obama!!!

I don't really like either candidate either but will probably vote for Obama because of what he is saying he is for.The VP choice is not why I will/will not vote for someone. I think we should be looking for alternative energy forms and not drilling for oil. I think we should have free choice as far as the abortion issue. I think something has to be done about our lack of a decent health care system I do not like the thought of just anyone having a gun. I want the war to be OVER! These are just some of the issues to think about and vote on - not whether the running mate is a female or not.The VP basically supports the presidents views -and takes over should he die. Palin didn't even know what the job duties are.

I like the fact that Palin will play hard ball and isn't afraid of the "old boys network" of politics. As a working woman I respect her moxie!

If McCain brought her aboard to clean up Hilary votes, its a smart move on his part. If women are going to give him their vote because he has a female running mate then that is on the women voting, not McCain.

A slap in the face is people who vote based on race or gender, and not what a politician can do for the country.

I didn't care who McCain chose. It would be politics as usually no matter the choice.

Obama's stand on many of the issues, is more to my liking.
