Medical research|I like to give to research that helps prevent the known, high mortality diseases like cancer or diabetes etc. (13.6%)
this is one of the best
I don't really donate money to organizations, I prefer to actually go out there and help people.
It's interesting how nobody picked Alma mater.
Hmm.. wouldn't just about anything fall under Personal Cause? If it has any meaning to us, it makes it personal. If it doesn't, why would we donate time or money?
I give to different institutions for different reasons. I would say that there are multiple that I give to but, some are nearer to my heart than others.
I like to give to organizations that support Christian ideals. Also, I like to donate to organizations where I know most of my dollar goes to the people who really need it and not to overhead.
Pelican I like your idea. I do find it harder to contribute my time now that I have family, even though having a family makes me feel more like giving.
I feel that it is much more useful and satisfying to donate your time and effort instead of your money.
