I rather watch a horror flick any day. SAW, Nightmare on Elm Street just to name a couple.

I can watch some, but then there's some I can't watch at all and give me horrible nightmares to the point I can't sleep. I use to like the thrill of watching scary movies and not being able to sleep but now that I'm older I don't like being scared like that.

My birthday is on Halloween (my FAV Holiday!! and the best birthday date!!) but I've never seen any of the Halloween movies, Freddy Krueger movies or the like - they've just gotten too gory. When I was a teenager, in the 70's, I went and saw the Dark Shadows movie and had nightmares all night. I thought there were vampires under my bed! That was a truly scary movie but without all the gore that's in them now. That was it for me on scary movies!
