    I make sure I drink a lot of water while what ever it is that am eating and I make sure that I add fruits an vegetables to my meals as much as I can.

    I eat salad first, that way I am not very hungry when its time for the fattier foods and deserts.

    Stand away from the food. Push candy dishes and trays to furthest end of the table when sitting. Ask to help the hostess in the kitchen or with cleanup, keeping hands busy.

    I'm trying really hard to do better, but the thought, "Just worry about it after the holidays" keeps coming to mind. I'm not overweight, but I do know I'm not making healthy choices right now... but I love my sweets, and this is the worse time to cut those out! I know I'll probably have Christmas candy around the house, so I can't give it up just yet. I am trying to drink more water though!
