For most companies that offer health insurance to their employees, open enrollment is going on. Are your/your spouse/partner's options for 2013 better or worse than they were for 2012?

The 2013 health insurance options are better (5.5%)

They are about the same (45.1%)

The 2013 options are worse than 2012 (17.6%)

I/we don't get health insurance from an employer (31.8%)

Our options are about the same, although the price of our premiums has gone up. The big question will be next year and the year after, when many "features" of the president's health care bill kick in. I believe your responses will look more like this: Options better? 0%. About the same? 0% Worse and Don't Have Insurance: Split 50/50%. Ladies and gentlemen, we are in for a bumpy ride.

Rates have gone up, amount of coverage has gone down, and co-pays have gone from $10 per visit to $40. Terrible thing is the company is making a big profit (my husband works in the accounting dept.). They aren't hiring anyone, no one but the big wigs are getting raises, and benefits are being cut left and right. Their attitude is if you don't like it, try to find another job.

The benefits are the same, we're paying a little more, and my insurance company is in a contract battle with my primary care doctor and their company. :(
