I know a few people that it can get heated with, so in order to get into a long and drawn out conversation or petty argument, I choose not to discuss my decision with them. There are others that we have witty banter with, which makes it interesting, educational and fun to discuss political choices with them.

I do discuss my choice for president with friends. They can either agree or agree to disagree but I refuse to give up my right to voice my own opinion!

I do discuss with my close friends, we've always talked about politics, whether local or national. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we do not. I think it's nice to have people to discuss these topics with and to hear their opinions, even when they conflict with my own.

I discuss politics with a few friends & family members. Growing up my Mom use to tell us you never talk Politics, Sex or Religion unless you are ready to argue for days with others. If you ask I will tell but I don't think I should rub it in peoples faces.

I discuss my choice when asked. I can usually explain why and am able to walk away cool headed, but to be honest it rarely escalates to that point. It's all about respecting other people's opinions, believing in your own, and being the bigger person if push comes to shove. :)

I normally do speak with my friends about it but this year I have put a stop to it. There are too many people that I know that are speaking very ugly about things, not intelligently so I will refrain.

I will openly discuss politics but one thing I was taught and still believe is two things you can't argue with people about is religion and politics. When these discussions start to get argumentive I change the subject. It's just not worth it. I will give my best educated opinion and leave it at that.

Yes I talk to my friends and co workers too. At work we can get into some very heavy heated conversations on politics.
