What is up in the photo is exactly what I have in my son's room. It works out really beautifully!

I love all of their school work, but take pictures of things I can't keep & frame their best paintings & put them around the house.

I also take photos for when I make photo books for the school year. I also display my favorites in cheap frames in one room of the house.

I learned from experience that most of the art work kids create are not going to last. When i was in pre-k, they would have us make art work out of macaroni, and my mum would save all of my creations in a box so i can look back on my childhood, little did she know that bugs were eating away at the macaroni! haha I think its more practical to take pictures of some of them and just keep an album now instead of saving up most of them.

I select a few pieces and hang them up (similar to the photo above). With 3 kids, I cannot keep everything but I do have a small plastic tub for each child

The best way is to keep a few choice pieces and then to photograph the rest and save those in a binder for each year

save it for a while. Eventually they will end on the floor, then trash.
