We had a great camping trip this summer! But DD and I certainly enjoy our modern conveniences like hot water and toilets.

We just went camping a few weeks ago. We went for a week, slept in tents, and where close to the bathrooms. That was great. I would go in a camper or an RV if I had the money in a hot minute! The tent thing is nice but I would rather be really cozy in a bed :)

I like the idea of camping and when I was younger I loved it out there, but being a mom now and older i need showers and working restrooms

My husband and I went on safari in Africa years ago. We pitched tents every night of the 10 day safari. It was great until we learned that lions and elephants love to roam around and night on camp sites. Next time, a cabin sounds like it would be much safer!

small camper is nice. One kid in the top bunk, one baby in crib under table, and my husband and I each had a side of the table. Not the best but I could boil water for the powdered baby formula with out getting soaked in the rain outside. It was hard, at five months my daughter wanted down to crawl. When the weather is nice, the little old used camper is fun.

sleeping in a cabin shouldn't be called camping..how is that different from sleeping in your own bed?

Sprinkles, it depends on the cabin.... No running water and no electricity would be camping in my book! :)

either a good tent out in the wilderness or in a campber on a beach. yes, I'd like a bathroom nearby, but if it is just 1 night, I'm good with squatting. haha.
