Daylight Savings Time begins at 2am on Sunday, March 11. How much will the extra hour of daylight impact your evening in the coming months?

What will you do with that extra hour of sunlight?

A lot - I can spend extra time outside at night (40.7%)

A little - I will try to take advantage of it when I can (24.5%)

Not at all - I still have the same routines and responsibilities (34.7%)

I like getting off work in the evenings and it's still daylight out. It's so depressing to head home after working all day and the sun is already down.

Congress made the move to extend DST in 2007. It cost US companies billions to fix automated equipment and software, put us further out of synch with Asian and African businesses time-wise, and most studies purporting that it "saves energy" have been unfounded. In fact, several studies HAVE shown that the week of the time change sees an 8% increase in traffic accidents due to the shift in sleep schedules. it ridiculous, it's a waste of time, and it's antiquated. Get rid of it.
