Spring comes when it comes, not based a what a groundhog does. So, no, I don't believe a groundhog prediction. Although, he is cute and the earlier Spring arrives - I say all the better! P.S. - Loving our "Winter" in the northeast this year - cannot beat it!!

I don't believe that a groundhog has any idea about when the season will change. Although it is a funny tradition.

I think it's really fun! I love to watch it on TV followed by watching the movie Groundhog Day!

Ground Hog Day is just fun... people don't pay attention.... We are so channel visioned into the "if the ground hog sees his shadow & runs to hide its head then Winter lasts another 6 weeks"... HOW MANY WEEKS OF WINTER IF THE GROUNDHOG DOES NOT SEE HIS SHADOW... huhh????... huhh???... huhh???... Count them out... It is still six weeks until Spring.... DUHHHH!!!!!! Now I am Off to my social page to have more fun with Groundhog Day WHAT GREAT FUN.... GROUNDHOG DAY ! ! !

It's a fun tradition but I don't believe anyone or anything can predict when spring weather will arrive, except maybe the calendar. However, I still wait with all the world to see whether the groundhog will see his shadow or not! :)
