    One daughter was born on New Years Eve and our baby daughter had life saving open heart surgery five years later. What more could you ask to celebrate?!

    Since we are around 50's, we tend to watch movies, or New Year on TV celebrations, have special food, few drinks, reflect on our lives together of 18yrs of 12/12/93. Count our blessings, make resolutions, we hardly keep except to stay healthy, and tk our God for all he's done for us!

    It's over-rated! Gave up on watching the new year ring in when I had to work it (I'm a nurse!) Haven't really celebrated it since 2000 and 2009.
