    i usually buy more fireworks in july than we need so i can set then off during the holidays!! The kids love the sights...

    Watching the fireworks blast out a magical show is a tradition that I have been lucky enough to enjoy since I was a little girl! It's comforting and a great way for family and friends to spend the holiday together:)!

    We only watch alittle on tv, the rest of the time we watch all the stars performing.

    I love professional fireworks displays, but I have dogs, so people setting off fireworks illegally (they are illegal in my state), are a problem. It isn't just dogs that are effected, veterins who have seen combat have trouble, but they don't want to say anything, it is dangerous to neighbors because of sparks. It is dangerous to users because the fireworks are unregulated, people have lost eyes, fingers, in one case a head. (He lit a canister firework, which didn't go off, so he stuck his head in and the fuse lit. If it wasn't bad enough that he was killed, his 7yr. old son watched it happened. Those are the things that people don't think about when they set off fireworks. They are beautiful, but leave them to the professionals.

    We always watch Dick Clark's New Years Eve and the fireworks in NYC then go outside and shoot fire works and so do all the neighbors. Also we live on the beach and can see the big fireworks.
