There are many reasons we select gifts for friends and family at the holidays.   Buying gifts that are products we’ve tried ourselves helps build confidence that we know what we’re getting - and giving to others - so it’s easier to buy presents that we’re familiar with.  And, while finding the perfect gift for someone is key, getting a great price with coupons or promotions is a nice way to sweeten the deal!

    Months before buying a gift for someone I try to go shopping with them and see what they spend more time looking at...but doesn't buy...or just listen in conversation to hints of what they want or need...usually works.
