How do you get your best gift ideas for the holidays?

For many of us, its never too early to start thinking about the holidays!  It seems that making a mental note throughout the year of great ideas for gifts (and what those on your gift list might want!) is a good way to get a jump on the holiday time craziness!  Sometimes buying in advance can give you access to best selection and even better prices!

    I prefer to ask each person which few things they want and I chose one of them,this way they can't be disappointed really

    Iv'e been always into making Craft./ Gift ideas. I like watching the craft and gift giving shows on Tv.

    I start filing wants, that come out in conversation, in the old memory bank in the third quarter of the year. That way, I can get my shopping done early and actually enjoy the holiday.

    In my family we only buy for the kids and now that they are teenagers I usually give them money but I always like to give them some little something. I will usually spend under $10 and try to get them little nail polishes, hair clips, pens, etc... Somebody gave the idea to buy them each flash drives so they can download their music.
