    I don't know anyone who smokes - that I know of - My mom at one time smoked, but she quit over 10 years ago...

    My sister started smoking at a very young age and my father smokes also. They have both tried to quit before and were unsuccessful. I know they both still wish they could quit.

    I quit 3 months ago after over 30 years, used Chantix, so far so good. From what I've heard starting April 1st they'll be over 5.00 a pack EVERYWHERE!!

    My husband smokes and he has tried everything even the Chantix.

    I don't know of anyone who quits, yet I know that there are many that do smoke.

    I quit over 15 years ago with the prescription patch. I was a three pack a day smoker for over 25 years. The patch was the best!

    I was a smoker for 33 years and quit with Chantix. I never thought anything would work because of years of trying to quit with the Gum, Patches and Wellbutrin. Much to my surprise, it worked!!!! I would highly recommend something for the depression after you stop taking the Chantix. Please consult with a doctor about this.

    Actually, May will be 2 years smoke free for me and my husband is going to try to quit starting April 1st!!! We had tried that procedure in your ear; I can't remember the name of it; anyway that didn't work for either of us but I was just determined to quit. Harder than I thought it was going to be. I had smoked for nearly 20 years. My husband has tried everything! Chantix included, this time he is going to use the gum. I think it's more how determined you are than what method you use.

    I quit smoking on December 8th of this year and I am trying to get my Brother and my Mother to quit. I quit cold turkey .
