Clean your slab good....at first! Love my Animal! But do know that the suction at first is fantastic! Like clean your original slab through your carpet good! But alas, it doesn't keep that suction too long. Still good, just not great like it used to be! I've had 3. They've all performed exactly the same: fantastic and then good!

Even my husband loves to vacuum using it. We have this vacuum at our vacation home. Bought one that cost more for the house and now I may trade the two because this is the best and easiest to use vacuum. Even my husband loves to vacuum using it.

Dyson animal Vacuum works great on carpet and on hard floors. Would definitely recommend this vacuum.

I really enjoy my Dyson (I've had it for about 2 years now) - it works great and really picks up the dirt! The only thing I dislike about my Dyson is that it's sometimes hard to use the attachments. No problems putting them on but the way the handle is angled I can't get into many tight spaces.

Works VERY well, but is way over priced. Such a shame that is so expensive because everyone should have one, very powerful & great for pet owners!

I have the original Dyson and love it. I thought I would upgrade to the Animal once I bought a long haired German Shephard. imagaine my surprise when I discovered that the electrical cord was so short that I could not even vaccuum my bed and bath all at once with out having to replug into another outlet. My BFF said that her cord was long, so I guess I could have landed a defective Dyson?! Anyway, I hated it and sent it back. I still have my trusty original Dyson, even though it is all banged up and bruised!

It picks up well, but not worth the price.Since it's bagless you can smell the pet dander.

Mine worked great at first but, after about two years the suction is not so great.

I owned my own cleaning business and before that I worked for a couple of cleaning companies and my belief after using many different kinds of dysons, they are over priced and break so easily.

I bought this machine because of all the hype. It's suction is fantastic and it cleans like a workhorse, however, it is not easy to maneuver and its really heavy to operate. All in all, I like it, but don't love it.

I have never used a dyson vacuum but my husband is a carpet layer. In his line of work dyson is not recommended to use on most carpets. The suction is to strong and can damage carpet.

I was not as impressed with this vaacum as I was expecting. It had a lot of power, but as I would go through and clean the whole house, it would start loosing more and more suction. It was a constant battle. I went out and bought a shark for well over half the price (on sale) and it won my heart. I have heard rave reviews about the dyson, but it wasn't for our home.

I had this vacuum...and while it worked well.....it did not last near as long as I thought it would for the price. I really can't say anything bad while it was functioning.....just not happy with the life of the vacuum.

I really wanted to love this Dyson vacuum. I have pets. I have injuries and it is supposed to be light weight. The sad truth is this while it does work great, it is too heavy and awkward for me to maneuver. Forget about the stairs, they are just not getting done, it is too difficult to use being disabled. I would love if Dyson could make a powerful vacuum that was lightweight and very maneuverable. I wanted to love, but I ended up just disappointed.

It is a great vacuum! My main problem is the cost - I believe it is too much for a vacuum. I enjoy a clean floor but I believe a vacuum that costs half would be satisfying as well.
