I have never been one to spend $20 on an eye shadow, but my best friend has used MAC for years and I decided to try it out. I love the shadow I purchased. It's half cocoa, half pink, both shimmery. I can use either color or swirl my brush around to blend them. I purchased it back in March and I still have more than half left. The shadow lasts all day too. I definitely will go back to get more colors and also buy the same one I have now because it's neutral, but gives a hint of glimmer and lasts all day, doesn't crease or smudge. Definitely worth the investment!

I absolutely love MAC's eyeshadows. There is a huge variety of colors and they last a long time. I have at least half of their eyeshadows and have been using them daily for years. I tend to go through the neutral and browns pretty fast. I know they can be a bit pricey but are worth every penny!

Nice pigment, but color does not stay put on oily/combination skin.

These are my go-to eyeshadows for day and night looks. I invested in the palette which makes the individual eyshadows several dollars cheaper (by buying the pan inserts instead of the eyeshadows in their individual packaging). I would recommend testing these out in the stores as the quality can vary by shade but in general going with MAC eyeshadows is a safe bet - lots of colour choices and they last the whole day at work!

They are really great eyeshadows. Great color pigmentation and they last for so long. They can be pricey but they are worth it.

As much as I would hate to admit this, MAC products are amazing. Nice pigment, easy application and such a wide array of colors. The price point is pretty high for this but it does last pretty long. But I think the brushes have a lot to do with the way the shadows blend. I do prefer creating the palettes instead of having tons of pots but you can't really recycle and get that (kinda free) lipstick or shadow!
