this movie is great! a little more violent than i thought it would be, but it was amazing. i just bought the first book and am planning on starting it soon!

I LOVED the Hunger Games movie. Yes, I loved the book more, but the movie was great. My husband went into the movie blind, as he didn't read the book, and he really enjoyed it. Though I missed some of the details, the movie stood alone as a great, adventurous, edge-of-your-seat, story. Can't wait for the next one!

well after u read the actual book i guess you wouldn't like the movie much. the movie misses out on a lot of important stuff.but i would definitely recommend it to people who haven't read the book before.

I loved this movie and the book. But I suggest reading the book first just to understand some stuff that aren't explained in the movie. The book is better then the movie. But the movie is really good. Some of the parts in the book aren't there or they're changed just a bit.

The book was amazing, and the movie could not possibly have met those standards. The actors did not fit the part, physically, at all. Yeah, they are talented, but it just wasn't right.

The movie is never nearly as good as the book, which is something I have come to learn over the years. If you read and loved the books then you know that the movie skips over some details that would have been very easy to correct. It is also difficult to follow if you haven't read the books because there is very little commentary. Overall, good story. Good movie.

I didn't really care for this movie, they took too much out of the books to make this movie. Things that they should have kept in and changed way too much. If you want to know what really happened, read the books!

I enjoyed watching the movie but felt it did not do the book justice. For me the book had so much emotion and kept you hooked where as the movie fell a little flat at times.

I really like the movie its self, but when compared to the book it fell short. The fact that Katniss was going to buy the mocking jay pin is completely out of character for her. It made more sense when Madge gave it to her in the book. It was a well made movie and I would recommend it to people of all ages.

I liked both the movie and books. I ran around having everyone read the books before watching the movies because I think it's important to know the book before watching any book turned movie.
