I love using this mixer because I can multi task I can clean up or wash dishes while my dough is mixing very reccomended

I received my Kitchen Aid as a gift and I love it. I would definitely make the investment if you are a frequent baker, or love mashed potatoes as much as my family!! It's a lot easier than a hand mixer, and the best part - you can keep prepping as this does the hard work for you. The downsides: 1) It is very heavy and not very easy to move or store - it's something that needs to be left out on the counter, therefore taking up counter space 2) It does not always reach the bottom or sides, you must use a rubber scraper to help make sure everything is mixed 3) The attachments are very expensive; I would like to try the pasta attachments to make homemade pasta but each are $150-$200. Otherwise, this is a must have for bakers and those who love to cook!

After using it steadily for approximately six months I had to get a new gear for my mixer. If I purchased another one, it would be the more expensive professional grade mixer.

Love, and use regularly. I only wish it didn't bounce around so much when mixing large batches. But still a great mixer.

Great mixer - but heavy I love this mixer - it feels industrial. It makes baking SO much easier for me. My only complaint is the weight. It is so heavy when I move it I'm petrified I'll drop it on my foot and lose a toe!

Great Christmas Gift My late husband bought me a Kitchen Aid Mixer for Christmas about 4 years ago in the color black. While I love that it makes quick work of bread and cookie dough, the attachments sometimes stick on mine,as does the bowl when attaching it to the base. I think it has to do with a humidity issue in my home though. I would still recommend getting one if you do a lot of baking. Mine gets the most use during holidays.

Dependable I've had my KitchenAid Stand Mixer for more than 10 years now and it's still going strong!! I love that I can turn it on and work on something else but I do have to turn it off and scrape the bottom and sides because the attachments don't quite reach. That's really the only reason I docked it one star. Everything else about it is great!!

Good quality, functional Powerful working horse, used it for quite a few years also. No complains for the functionality. Only comment want to mention is the head start to be a little loose and it keeps "knotting" head when handle doughs.

Great heavy duty mixer I love my KitchenAid stand mixer. This is my second one- I bought a larger one to use! I wish that the mixing blades were stainless steel vs. coated.

Worth the higher price tag My husband really wanted a better blender & finally decided to splurge on a Kitchenaide. I would have figured the price would be much more reasonable by now, but they are still upwards of $300 or more from what I have researched. That being said, if you can afford to purchase or be gifted one, they are well worth the money. My husband likes to bake his own bread, soft pretzels and bakery goods & the Kitchenaide makes it so much easier to do so.

Best black friday splurge I've ever made I LOVE my stand mixer once I started using it! I only don't give it 5 stars because sometimes there is flour left at the bottom of the bowl and the whole thing shakes a little too much for comfort on medium to high level. But it really works great for all foods, sweet and savory!

An awesome kitchen machine I have had mine for about 5 years and I still love it. Honestly I mostly use it at the holidays, but it's perfect for making bread, cookies, strudels. It has so many attachments, that you can use it as more than a mixer. Noodle making, food processing, heavy mixing.

Perfect Gift Got one of these from my hubby for Christmas and I love using it. It is heavy though so if you can keep it on the counter I would suggest it. I love that they sell ceramic bowls fir them also. I have one on my wish list.

I love!! my stand mixer it get the job done fast and it is easy to use.

I always wanted a Kitchen Aid, and I don't have one. I do have a food processor, but when it needs to be replaced, I know what I will buy.
