I have one since December 1992 it still works like the first day. Mine was made in USA,, MIchigan I believe. I hope the current models are as well made today as mine was. Kitchenaid' s dishwashers and stick blenders are whole other ballgame. They suck and Kitchenaid doesn't stand behind their products the way Cuisinart does.
