My 3 loved this one and ate it all. As far as it being filling by itself, no but when paired with a healthy side item like fruit it was.

My daughter loved this one and was thrilled to make it on her own! I liked that she was able to completely make this on her own (she is 9) and it was very good. This is going on my shopping list!

The Hormel Compleats Kids Meals were a HUGE hit in my house ... I have 3 stepkids - an uber-picky 11yr old boy, his 8yr old brother (who eats almost everything), and a 3yr old girl who follows her picky brother's lead in most things. All three kids LOVED the Hormel Kids meals ... the ravioli, beef & macaroni, and the spaghetti & meatballs were the ones we tried with the kids. Nothing was left in any of the dishes after lunch ... and in THIS household, that's nearly unheard of. The kids liked these so much, that I've been asked (very politely! LOL) to always keep these in the house for their visits. In fact, the two boys told me they liked these more than the canned ravioli we used to buy. Hormel, I'm sold! And I have a dozen of these meals on order with my local grocery store (they don't carry this product yet, but I'm working on them!) As far as serving sizes go, all three kids said that this was a good size - of course, we also gave them milk, a slice of bread & fruit with their lunches, to make sure they had a balanced meal, so that might have helped. The quote from my uber-picky stepson "Wow, these are GREAT! Can you buy more, please? Soon?"
