I am older and have had a hysterectomy so the Always Discreet Ultra thin regular liners are the best products that I have used so far on those light days that I need a little coverage. They are comfortable and they do a great job. I will continue to recommend this product to my friends. I have always loved using the Always products when I was younger before my surgery I had heavier flows and the Always overnights had helped with that time in my life. To be honest, when I took them out of box and saw they were size and shape of a thin maxi pad I was disappointed. I went ahead and used them. They were thin but too wide and honestly not descreet. I usually grab a panty liner, designed for leaks, but resent that the period pads are cheaper for same product. It is a huge improvement on the rather thick pads I had to get for my mother in law, but since I am using for occasional leak, it would not be my go to product. It does Block smell and works fine enough but it should be made thinner and narrower. The length was okay. I will alternate with a thinner pad on days when I want extra protection...when frequent bathroom trips are not possible. But for office or home, it was not an attractive option. So I will review from both points of use. For me, I used them as a back up plan for the heaviest flow day of my period along with a tampon. When I did have spillage from the tampon, the Always Discreet liner never failed me. They consistently provided great leakage protection. I was not left with stains on my undergarments, especially when worn overnight. The liners keep everything on the pad. The pads themselves stayed put and did not feel bulky. They actually held up to their description of "discreet." Now on to protection against bladder leakage. My mother-in-law's issue really isn't stress incontinence status post childbearing. Her issue is when she's got to go, she's got to go. And, unfortunately, a toilet is not always available as quick as her bladder is ready to empty. So, the pads were a big help to her. She says the pads are much thinner and more comfortable than brands she has used in the past. The times that she did not have any spillage, she says she sometimes forgot she was even wearing the liner because they were that discreet. She also mentioned that no matter how much urine actually leaked out before making it to the toilet, she never had any accidents on her clothes because of the incredible absorbency. She loves that the odor protection was fantastic. No more walking around smelling of urine until she finds a toilet. When asked would she purchase them in the future, her response was "no doubt because I always stand behind a product that lives up to its claims and Always has been around for many, many years.
