This is a good tool for chopping fruits, too (peaches, mango, apples). I use it to make tiny little squares of different fruits for a Fruit Salsa that i make with Cinnamon pita chips. I do have to admit, it is hard to push down on. I end up putting it on my kitchen floor and using all of my weight to press down. Still, though, it beats cutting all of my fruit into tiny pieces by hand!! I did buy one for my mom and my sister.

Best invention ever for chopping onions. No tears, no smell on your hands, and fairly easy cleanup. I've had mine for over 2 years and it still works like a charm. If it ever breaks, will definitely buy another one!

I found this to be a bit of a pain to use. Having a weak wrist, it was difficult to press down. Sadly, mine cracked while chopping carrots only a week after getting it. Softer produce (like tomatoes) simply turned to mush and created a huge mess, and it didn't seem to go through the celery "strings" very well. It was, also, a hassle to clean the blades if juices happened to dry before washing.

I bought it to dice onions but you need to have strong hands to make it work. I tried tomatoes too .. what a mess. It splashed everywhere. Tried potatoes and I couldn't make it to work. Even my husband asked me to return it.

I was originally given this as a gag gift one year at Christmas, but has since become both mine and my kid's favorite device for making garden fresh salsa! It used to take me all day to dice tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc........and, then the family would eat the huge batch of salsa in one sitting, and I would have to set another day aside to do it all over again. NOW? Well, I just get this little gadget out and the kids even "fight" over who gets to use it. A huge batch of salsa that used to take all day now takes less than an hour! Unbelievable! I am pretty picky when it comes to my fresh salsa, and have to have everything diced perfectly - and this does it with ease. No gag here - I would totally recommend this to everyone who wants an easy way to dice anything!

Received as a gift. I don't think I would have purchased this myself, just for chopping onions, I prefer multipurpose gadgets. It does the job, easily, without the crying.

I have been using this item for about two years. It is hard to push down and I have even had one to break on me, but I do enjoy the results that I get. It is sometimes hard to clean but overall I think it is a great addtion to any kitchen. The larger blade works better than the small one. I think it is well worth the price.

I have no wrist rotation, limited muscle in my arms, and four fingers on each hand. I LOVE this product!!!! Its worth the money. Easy to use and clean and great for salads. It really does cut time and energy for me!

It works great for onions and potatoes (the little red ones) I found it a bit hard for tomatos as some tended to moosh. I put the plastic parts in the dishwasher, however I was afraid that the blades would dull if I put them in the dishwasher. Over all it was a great product!

I USE THE VIDALIA CHOP WIZARD IN WORK , AND I LOVE IT. ITS QUICK AND EASY TO USE. I REALLY DO HAVE TO GET ONE FOR HOME. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

I love this product. I hate chopping onions, so this is a life saver. You don't have to get your hands smelly, or cry buckets of tears. Plus it works great for all kinds of other things. I chopped onions, carrots, and potatoes for soup in under 3 minutes.
