great story

Here is my disclaimer: DO NOT LET THE NAME SCARE YOU AWAY. I read this book way before Rob Pattionson put his cute little mug on the movie screen to portray the main character. I also have met the author, who is a natural, organic beauty. If you read the book, you know exactly what the title means and it becomes an inside joke - if you will. Jacob is an adorable character and you will fall in love with him as you root him along throughout the entire book. If you are a sappy romantic like I am, you will not be able to keep this book down. I lost exactly 2 nights of sleep and then a few more because I was sad it was over. Then, I obsessively followed the movie production....lol....it is GOOD! Read it!

I love this movie, and Reese and pattonson are my some of my favorites.

I am a huge fan of Robert Pattinson and became aware of this book when the movie was coming out. As I absolutely hate seeing any movie based on a book prior to reading the book I had to go out and get this book to read first. As I delved into the story I could see that the writer has a genuine talent for storytelling and did a lot of research into the era which she has portrayed. I think if you like a good romance mixed in with a specific era of history and read more into the genre of romance with comedy and a bit of macabre humor then you will love this book as much as I did.

Great book...one of the best I have read in years.

I really enjoyed the movie, I wasn't sure how it was going to end and hoped it wouldn't be sad. It was well worth watching.

i thought this movie was going to be a dud but i watched it and i loved it was amazing i think reese did awesome and the man in it was amazing it is thumbs up

I wasn't exactly sure if I would like this book or not? I was pleasantly surprised after reading it. It's a amazing story that makes you want to keep reading it and not put it down.

One of my top 5 most loved books. I loved the story and it was one of those books that was written so vividly you felt like you were there. I didn't want this book to stop but it ended nicely. I dont usually pass on my books too often but I bought 2 copies just for this purpose. The movie doesn't do it justice of course. I hope Sara Gruen can continue this kind of writing in future books then she'll have me hooked for life.

I was very surprised how much I liked this book! It immediately sucked me in, and was very fun to read. I actually really liked the movie too, which surprised me even more! The book was better though. I definitely recommend it!!!

Great book. I have read it five times and hope to watch the movie soon. Just got my little sister to start to read it.

love this book!!

I loved the book. When they made I was so happy.

Fell head over heals for these characters. I love the how it delves into the seedy past of Circus' and the explores the individuals who make up the Circus. From the performers to the laborers to the management. The madness of the depression and what one had to do to earn a living. Very good book.

I love this book. With three little kids I have very little time to read. This is one of those books that I made time for and couldn't put down. Very easy read.
