I have a lot of Rubbermaid products already, but these are my favorite now. I love that they are VERY CLEAR and you can easily see what is inside of them - no need for labels. The inner seal around the entire top keeps them leak proof too - perfect for putting foods in the cooler to go to the lake, park, etc. during the summer. Hubby also loves BRILLIANCE for his leftover lunches that have a lot of liquid so it doesn't leak on him. I love that I can put them in the dishwasher, EVEN BOTTOM RACK, to wash them! They are not getting cloudy and if you reheat in them they don't get that icky stuff on the sides, even with tomato sauce kinds of foods. Rethink Your Food Storage Practices **This is a sponsored review, I received free product from SheSpeaks.** Yes, I received this as part of a campaign, but I wish I had discovered Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE long ago. As someone who keeps random containers for food storage, my cabinet is a mess and my refrigerator equally as messy. Well at least is was before. Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE storage containers are fixing that. Why? Let me give you some highlights. -They are clear. As in, "Hey, there's leftover blah-blah-blah" still! And then there isn't because everyone knew and someone ate it. How many times has something been thrown out because it was stored in a mystery container? Too...many...times. Right? This resolves that! -They are (insert appliance here) safe. Yes, that was lazy but they can go in the fridge or the freezer or the microwave. If you hate having to clean up splatter in the microwave then these containers may be the next love of your life. The handles that help it seal so nicely open to become air vents when in the microwave. Buh-bye splatter! -They seal and don't leak! I put chicken stock in these then tipped it on it's side. It didn't leak. The only problem with the leak-proof system is that the strong seal can make it difficult for young children to open. Oh, that's another selling point for some people. -Stack nicely in the fridge. These are designed in a modular way to stack nicely in the fridge. I haven't figured out how to nest them in the cabinet very well yet (with some of my existing Rubbermaid containers), but as I continue to toss out the old generic containers, there will be more room and it won't matter as much. Would I recommend these? Duh. While the variety pack was nice, I'm sure I'll be purchasing some additional of the mid-sizes. I was totally proven wrong! They are awesome, great quality and I really love that they are clear! You can see what food is in there, and the condition of it (no fuzz.. woohoo!), and they are super versatile! Microwaveable, dishwsher safe-- you can even steam with the lid on in the microwave. I love it! I have used it for a few social events already and they are so easy to transport. I put leftovers in them and my husband takes them to work. They hold up super well!
