A family favorite . My aunt took me to see this movie when it came out and now my 3 children and my husband watch together . Highly recommend.

One of my all-time favorite movies! The comedy, the drama, the action, and, of course, the romance. There isn't any nudity in this movie like one would see nowadays, either. What a refreshing change of pace. The story is just fantastic.

good movie best love story and any thing else

I really couldn't tell if this was supposed to be a joke or serious, but it was hilariously terrible. The plot line was just weird, but cool. The characters were so funny, and the blonde guy was incredibly seductive.

This was one of my favorite movies of all time. Best line "you keep a using that word... I don't think it means what you think it means." Inconceivable!!! It's stupidly hilarious.... LOVE IT!

Such a classic! One of the last comidies that's humor isn't based on idiots running around in their underwear, it is actually witty. Made my boyfriend watch it (he didn't want to he thought it was a girly movie) but he loved it too!

This is one of my favorite movies! I grew up watching it, in all of its campy glory. If you love fantasy, and love humor, then this satirical fantasy movie is hilarious to watch, even as it makes fun of itself. Also, bask in the glory days from when Cary Elwes was not, and not creepy.

While this isn't a movie I can watch over and over again, I love watching it every once in a while. My friends will definitely vouch for me quoting the movie incessantly though!

This movie is legend in my family. It's got a really unique humor to it - definitely an acquired taste. It's satire at its finest! It's hailed as being one of the most brilliantly stupid movies ever, often lumped into the same category as Nacho Libre and Napoleon Dynamite, but there is actually a lot of very intellectual humor. I would rate it 5 stars, but like I said, it's an acquired taste.

this is a movie for almost everyone

This is one of the few times that I believe the movie was superior to the book. I disliked the constant 'flashbacks' in the book but in the movie it was sweet. It actually improved the movie and added a sweet child-bearing quality. Very fun movie for all ages.
