As far a makeup brushes go this is as good as it gets. For a mere $1 you get a quality brush that will last you forever. Even if it only lasted you a few years you'd still get your money's worth. The bristles are extremely soft and easy to clean. It's great for both blending crease colors for a beautiful smokey eye as well as for dusting a wash of color all over the lid. This is great for beginners because its so inexpensive that you can afford to stock up in case you ruin one or two during the learning process. As far as the e.l.f. dollar makeup brushes go not every brush is a winner. As far as i'm concerned only their eye brushes are worth buying. The face and lip brushes are rough and cheap.

OMG. You can't beat the price for a makeup brush. I love this brushes. They are perfect for applying eye color. The brush doesn't fall out. It is lightweight and works well as any other brushes. I use my expensive brush and this E.L.F brush and didn't notice any different.

I have soo many of these brushes they work great!!! I love the softness of the bristles they dont shed and they are very easy to clea,. also they only cost 1 dollar and its well worth it

Elf brushes are great! This particular eyeshawdow brush I use daily and it can be compared to some higher end brushes. It has minimal shredding and gets the job done at a fraction of the cost.
