It's just fine with diced onions and grated cheese but it cannot compare to the homemade variety. I will say that it is a BIG step up from another brand we tried. I usually get it for my daughter for after school or late night munchies.

Do not care for the taste of hormel chili. I would rather buy wolf brand. It has a tin can flavor I just can't get past.

I don't much care for instant chili but when I need it I refuse to buy any other brand. Hormel is by far the best canned chili out there and there are so many different recipes you can use it with. It really makes my job easy as head chef of the house. :)

I like this best on hot dogs. Its definitely not my grannys chili but its still good.

The only time I use this chili is when making chili dogs. I usually use the one with beans. Flavor is good, but I probably wouldn't eat it by itself.

Honestly I'm not a fan of canned chili but had a taste for chili dogs. This stuff made for a great chili dog! I still prefer homemade if I'm having a bowl. But to cut down on prep time this is a great way to make a chili dog or a chili con queso dip.

This stuff is okay, the Nalley brand is better

Works great for a quick meal during the week.

I don't care for this chilli tastes very artificial. The only way that I will eat this chilli is if I doctor it up myself

Reminds me of canned dog food! Eek.

I love chili with beans. But I don't like the Hormel. To me it taste ok I guess but a few times when I bought it and opened the can it smelled like dog food. My husband thinks it taste ok but I think it taste too greasy.

I would rather take the time to make a good chili. This tastes too processed for me.
