"The Help" was one of, if not, the best movie of the year. It brought to light societal and cultural issues of the 60's that many may not have realized went so far as to invade people's own homes. To show the lack of education of the white community at the time in hilighting the fear they had of the staff in their home was brilliant. It was a fabulous film and was wonderfully written, directed, and acted.

This movie gave the insight on to what really happened back in the day! I loved how it was portrayed. My daughter who is 9 started to understand how awful they treated black people.

The Help was a fantastic movie that really showed how these ladies in the south treated there help. I found some scenes to be very humorous especially a certain pie scene. Others were very sad and make you really think about how we relate and treat other people. I really enjoyed the movie . I was totally captivated by the film and the actors did a wonderful job with there roles.

My daughter bought this movie for me. I love it so much I think they did a wonderful job. I have watched it several times. Not only are the actors perfect in their roles they also make you feel how it must have been for those women in that situation. I just can't say enough about how wonderful this film is.

I read the book and it was fantastic. Then I saw the movie and enjoyed it even more. The acting was phenomenal. I'm glad that it got some Oscar recognition. It was funny, emotional, dark. It had such great elements and depth to it. I have recommended this movie and the book to everyone I know. Five Stars isn't enough.

My son and I watched this movie and we both loved it. He wants this to win in all the categories it is nominated in. I was glad this was made into a movie and it did the book good.

Me and my children went to see this movie and loved it! It was a pleasure to watch I would recommend this movie to my friends and family, I hope the Help wins an Oscar I be watching.

The help was a truly remarkable movie, following not just the racial tension in the south but also the personal lives and struggles of those black and white. While the help suffered greatly at the hands of their employers it was their own home lives that bore the most pain. Domestic violence, segrigated neighborhoods, and busing all were spotlighted beautifully and gave a realistic undertone to the characters. I think I shed the most tears when Skeeter's mother told the tale of what really happened to their beloved maid. The pain in both Skeeter and her mother's face proved that while blood is thicker than water, it is easier to cast away those you love than it is to take on the social responsibility of life. I feel this movie is very worthy to take home awards, especially for Viola Davis. Her role was as real as it gets and I'm sure for her it was an eye opening and heart renching experience to relive the lives of many women of that era.

I wanted to find fault with this movie since there was so much buzz about it. Some things are popular because they're good and this is a great example. Wonderful movie for the WHOLE family. It's not often I can watch a movie that my mom will also love. Teaches so many wonderful lessons and reminds us all that it wasn't long ago that our reality was much different.

I loved this movie! It stayed very true to the book. It had very funny moments and also moments that made me cry. The actors were wonderful, and the plot was well written.

I vote "The Help" as the best movie of the year! The wit an d humor were fantastic, but gave an insight to what really happened to those folks back in the day! Will be a movie I will watch over & over!

After reading the book and then watching the movie, I have to say it was one of the best movies that I have seen in a long time. For those of us who did not grow up during that time, it really gives a wonderful perspective as to how people were treated because of the color of their skin. And how ignorant white people were towards black people.

I loved this movie, although i was more fond of the book (like always) I have to say the movie was so good!!! Very eye opening and inspirational!!

I don't go to the movies much but I had to go see this movie because of it's reviews by friends. It was wonderful! I laughed, I cried and I cheered! This was definitely a 5 star movie.

I read the book first and it was such a great book with details I just had to buy the movie. The movie goes by the book in all aspects and I would like for this movie to win.
