I've had this several years and use it often,not just for panini's but I grill chicken breast and make hamburger patty's.Just make sure you use cooking spray before using.

My husband bought me one of these for Christmas a couple of years ago. We don't use it as often as we should, but I do like it for paninis. It is easy to clean, and I especially like that the grill plates are removable for washing.

This is my most used "appliance" in my house. I make everything I can on it. The plates are dishwasher safe. I have even taken this on vacation with us and even camping. It's easy enough to use and saves space considering it's a grill and griddle all in one so you won't need anything else.

I bought one of these at Costco and used it every weekend- mostly for making pancakes because mine came with griddle plates that you could switch out for the grill plates. It stopped working, so I returned it at Costco. So far the new one is working fine.

I am an old fashion..cook on the stove type of person. I actually received a panini press as a gift. My first notion is what am I going to do with this thing and just another appliance taking up space. Then one Sunday I decided to start playing around in it. I discovered that I could make grilled cheese in a matter of seconds and no dirty pans. I made quesadillas like pronto! I love it. Definitely dont be affraid to try something to make your life alittle simpler.
