My cat also figured it out quickly

My cat was so so with these, but I used these with my dog when I had to give him meds and they worked perfectly!

I had a dog on multiple medications and these were a life saver. For the small pills these work fabulous. He did sometimes spit out the pill but I found that if you squish the pill pocket around the pill like play dough it works better and is harder to get it out. For large pills I would cut them in half if they were scored and do 2 pockets. For the truly stinky, nasty pills these were not the best, but could work on occasion.

My parents gave me a few to use with my dog Chloe. Chloe is a smart dog who loves Greenies, but dislikes her pills. Chloe has figured out how to eat the pill pocket and spit out the pill. So I am sticking to the 1st plan and putting her pill in cheese cubes. Nutro has a great idea, for some dogs and cats, just not for Chloe.

I have the pickiest dog so it's a 50/50 chance he'll eat it or not. I do love that Greenies help freshen the breath and care for the teeth. That's just awesome for me!

My dogs find these to be much harder to eat the goodies around the pill and just spit the pill out. So works like a charm for me.

Ok, I have to admit these do work up to a point. I have a larger dog and I had to use 2 for each pill because my dog was smart enough and could smell the pill through the open end of the pocket. It did work but so did anything else in the fridge if I wrapped it well enough. Just not worth the money for me to buy again.

very easy and convienent, but so expensive! Peanut butter works for me altho its messier. If they were more affordable I'd use them more.

I love these things for the cat! the dogs will eat anything so i just put their pills in cheese or on peanut butter bread.

These were great for about 3 days. My cats figured it out in no time. They carefully chew the good part and spit out the pill.

Good idea but the cats are smarter than Greenies thinks they are. Mine always ate the pocket and spit the pill right back at me. Perfect for a dog though because he just gulps anything down!

My dogs ate the pocket but spit out the pill. These are too large and are not soft enough to mold into a ball the dogs swallow in one gulp. Plus, while the Cattle dog ate them repeatedly, the Poodle didn't like them much. The Cattle dog will eat anything, so her opinion isn't very valid.

The cats were not tricked by these pill pockets....but the dogs loved them!

Tried this on my cat when I had to give her pills and she didn't fall for it. She spit out the treat and dug out the pill. It didn't mask the pill flavor for her enough. She did pick at the treat part of it though so there must be a good flavor and taste to it.

Great idea, but my cat figured it out after the first one. She ate around the pill and spit it out. Maybe if the treats were smaller...
