MY HUSBAND LOVES HIS PS3 AND IT IS A BLU RAY PLAYER AS WELL!!!!

I have this system. Its amazing. I have one and so does my fiance. With the price drop there is no beating it. You are getting a blu ray player and a gaming system all in one. There is so much you can do with this system I love it and cant say enough great things about it.

Sony has managed to put together an all in one entertainment system and a price decrease. I never considered myself a gamer nor was I interested in becoming one. I have wanted this for a while. Built in wifi, Blueray/DVD/CD, a dual shockwave controller. This will also upscale your regular DVD so that they look better on your HD. I also purchased the wireless keyboard because typing with the controller was a drag. Also helpful was the purchase of a Blueray Remote Control. Total for everything was 383.00. Playstation also allows you to make purchases from the interface as well as an online community - Playstation Home. Helpful hint: Make yourself a boy character as the guys on there will hunt you down. There is free additional content and you can get rewarded by playing mini games. However if you want additional items for yourself or your apartment - you will have to be prepared to pay anywhere from .15 cent to 4.99. Lastly the games - I guess you could find some child friendly games for the PS3 - I wouldn't let mine play on it until they were a teenager. Games (new) range from 24.99 and above. Gamestop sells used games - the newer/popular games are still relatively expensive.
