This is the least user friendly mascara that I've ever used. Flocks of women always wonder why this mascara is constantly hailed as #1 when it's a clumpy, goopy, wet, and runny mess. The truth is, it takes some work but this mascara can be truly "great". The wet formula is ideal for building up coats and separating with a metal lash comb along the way. The tiny brush is great for getting into hard to reach corners for even the smallest eyes. The extremely black formula is great for when you really want your lashes to pop. For these reasons, many makeup artists still use this mascara. It truly is versatile if you know how to work with it in the right way. However, for the average consumer this mascara sucks. It's not something you can just swipe on and be done with. It takes coaxing, working, manipulating, and fixing to get this mascara to work at its full potential. Yes, it's cheap, but the time you'll spend trying to get this to look right might not be worth it. There are definitely other budget mascaras that you can "brush on and go" that work much better than this does.
This is my back-up mascara that I have when I run out of my favorite mascara. I don't use it everyday I probably use it twice ever month or two. It's a good mascara but it takes more time to get the result that I want unlike the falsies
I have been using this mascara for some time now. I like it beause it does not feel heavy, it does not clump, washes of easily, and is not expensive.
I have problems using this mascara the brush was hard for me to use without hurting my eyes. but great product for thous not as clumsy as me.
I have the blue mascara that was limited edition, it's amazing!
it was ok , my lashs did clump a little
This is a classic mascara that my mother swore by:) For me, it's an okay mascara, Not as great as you would think.
I've been using this mascara for many years, since I was in high school...make that many, many years! While I have been tempted to buy a different brand, I still end up putting this one in my basket because I know it works for me pretty well. Years ago, I was given a tube of a very high end (Chanel, I think) mascara from the mall, and so I do know that there are better ones out there. However, for my budget and for practical reasons, being able to pick up a tube of this at any drugstore around, I continue to use this. What I like about Maybelline Great Lash Mascara is that it does not clump on my lashes, it goes on and stays on well, while still washing off easily with soap and water. The blackest black is richly pigmented and I like the option of getting the curved brush. Additionally, I like that I've never had any problems from the ingredients irritating my eyes or eyelids. What I don't like is that it doesn't build up my lashes very much in length or in thickness, so it's just a really basic mascara. It is true that it takes a while to dry, which can be annoying when I'm in a hurry and accidentally smear it while it is still wet. For a basic mascara, it's hard to go wrong with this one when in doubt of which one to choose from what seems like 100 different brands promising no-clump, longer, fuller, thicker, sexier, traffic-stopping lashes (that just may also be able to persuade your husband to take out the trash :) while staring at a display full of different mascaras. Overall opinion: Pretty good, basic no-frills mascara.
This is a classic mascara that my grandmother swore by:) For me, it's an okay mascara, but takes a while to dry.
The formula for this mascara was too wet and the applicator didn't do much either. It acts more as a lash tint, adding darker pigements to your lashes. There are better mascaras on the market.
If you are just starting to ware makeup then You should use this mascra . When I stared to ware make up I users this mascra it ok , but I have long eyelashes so I use a diffrent mascra now . But it's a good mascra for new makeup users
I like this mascara well enough but I have really long, straight lashes and it just doesn't do that WOW effect on them. If you have light lashes then I would def recommend this, because it does make them darker.
This is my favorite mascara. It makes my lashes feel fuller and does not cost to much.
It's okay, but after a while the mascara liquid thing starts to clump and is hard to put on lashes. I would suggest to find a better one.
have used this mascara for over 30 years and have always loved it it is the best one coat there is
