I've gone through a couple of these b/c I simply love the concept but unfortunately they are made poorly! While they feel heavy duty plastic and the blades do stay in the grate the PLASTIC knobs that hold the cover on and is used for leverage to push the onions through break off. Ugh its so dissapointing too b/c I simply hate chopping onions and this thing was a super time saver. I would tell everyone that until they tweak it and do something about those knobs (make em metal!!) then save your money!

I love my chop wizard. It helps me save alot of time in kitchen. I think it great for onions and tomatoes. Love love it!!!

I've gone through two of these and finally given up on it since they keep breaking in the same spot along the hinge. I think the product is great in theory, it makes my veggies uniform in size, and I can throw soup together a lot quicker. My main issue with it is that it can be a pain in the rear to clean, even with the provided tool I still end up with veggies stuck in the lid. If the quality were to improve I would definitely purchase another one.

I love my Vidalia Chop Wizard. My mom has one and recommended it to all 8 of her kids! I think we all have one now. My mom does a lot of canning and uses this a lot. She said it chops perfectly for salsa!

I have this product and have used it before. It is great for rough chopping onions. It doesn't make "french fries" like they say but It does dice potatoes for mashed potatoes, at least from my use anyway. I would recommend this to others that have alot of onions to chop up or have trouble chopping vegetables.

It works well with vegetables that are slightly hard - like onions, potatoes, beans, carrots,etc. It is very easy and convenient. However, its a difficult to use with tomatoes ... doesn't really slice it all the way through.

This is one of my favorite toys for the kitchen. I chop onions, tomatoes and other veggies with the chopper. I hate cutting onions, and this saves so much time, it is unbelievable. I make salsa all in the one container using the chopper. I highly recommend this product

My sister gave me this as a gift and I use it all the time. It works well for me.

I find it difficult to dice onions with the wizard because I can't press down as hard as necessary apparently. Agree with mother of 2 that you also can't do tomatoes...this product doesn't work well when your vegetable has a skin, it will dice the underneath, not the skin and it all sticks to the skin and doesn't chop all the way through. I will say this - it does make beautifil uniformed chopping, so it's great if you have to do a lot of chopping, espeically good for making veggie pizza as the softer vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower are a breeze with this chopper. For a dinner, its much easier just to chop with a knife and clean the knife, rather than going throught the hassle of this and doing the clean up, i never can get the onion skins out of the grates, even with the little tool it comes with. So I'm mixed about this...just depends on the job... I don't use it much.

I bought this a few years ago and it worked great. But when I was using an especially tough onion the lid broke. I figured it was my fault and I bought another one. The second one broke as well. I think its a design flaw and it might have improved in the last year. It did work great when I used it and it made chopping onions really easy.

LOVE it!!! this is the best! I love how there are two different sizes to choose from, depending on how big you want your veggies. We use this all of the time. It really cuts down on the slicing and dicing for making salsa, chili, spaghetti, you name it. I highly recommend this to everyone!!

I use this product a lot and i love it! Everyone in my family knows i hate chopping onions so this was a great gift for me last christmas. Easy clean up and does not take up much storage space.
