I really enjoyed the movie (that I must admit, I saw before I read the book). I went with my teenage daughter and she filled in any missing details. She really loves this series and going to this movie gave us an excuse to have a girl's night out. A lot of girls really love this movie so even if you aren't a huge fan, if your daughter is, it's worthwhile watching to have something to enjoy together. My daughter and I have been having some great discussions about the book and what the next movie will be like. We watched the trailer together and afterward I told her she could see the next movie with her girlfriends if she wanted...she immediately asked why she would do such a thing when this [Twilight] is "our thing." It made me feel really good to know that my 16 year old daughter still enjoys hanging out with her mom and is actually looking forward to our girl's night in November, when the next movie is released!

omg.! i love this movie.i saw it like a million times. i cannot wait until new moon comes out. but i would love to try reading the books.

I did not read the books but cannot stop watching the movie! I usually do not get into this genre, but the movie was such a wonderful example of true love I couldn't help myself once I started watching it! There is real chemisty between the two characters, and maybe it is because I am 23, but Edward Cullen definitely melts my heart!

I loved the book so much I read all four of them!!! The movie was just as good and I cant wait untill New moon comes out

I LOVE this movie! I have watched it a few times. I just finished reading all the books ( i didn't want to have to wait for all the movies to know what was going to happen). Now I can't wait to see the next movie just to see how it plays out if its anything like the books. SO excited can't wait until November 20th!!!!

I hate scary movies so i was a bit scared to watch it at first, but i couldnt take my eyes off the movie the entire time. I disagree with iheartjulie, i thought the two main charachters hit it off really well, and i have to say i had some lovely dreams about wanting to become a vampire.lol

You have to remember that this movie was a LOW BUDGET movie. The money backers didn't anticipate the "Twilight" following. I thought it was great considering. I am looking forward to "New Moon." Enjoy the ride!!!!!!!

I saw the movie then read the book. Althought I loved the movie, the book was better in my opnion. I thought that they left out a lot of information (like the Volturi and how Carlile came to be a vampire) that was very important to the story. I still cant wait for New Moon! My daughter (who loves the Twilight Saga and has read all of the books at least 3 times) turns 18 on that same day and we are going to make it a birthday party at the movies.

I love this movie! I can't wait for the other movies to come out.
