Trying to keep up with what all the kids were watching and talking about, I read all the novels and watched all the movies. I hate to admit it, but it was a pretty decent series. I never go into a movie expecting it to be like a book. Watching the movie for entertainment purposes only, it was nice to have something to do with my teenage kids. My 40th birthday was actually spent watching the last movie in the series. My daughter's suggestion (cough cough), not mine.

This movie is just horrible acting. I wish they could re-shoot the whole movie over again. Billy Burke is amazing and fits his character perfectly.

I have watched all the movies and read all the books. I think if they would have had a better actress than Kristen Stewert the movies would have been better. Although the movies were good and I loved watching Robert Patterson :)

I read the books, before watching the movie and I have to say that I did actually like the movie. Considering that a lot of times when they make a movie out of the book, it is not very good...in my eyes they did a great job with this movie.

I'm probably not the first to say this, but i DID like the movie. All i see is haters these days, but really- IT WASNT A BAD MOVIE GUYS!! people just like to poke fun at some of the actors (ahem)- but, they were still GREAT. and it wasnt a blockbuster hit and win awards for NOTHing!! i read all the books and was a big fan- i do happen to like the new moon movie better- but that's probably just cuz i got to see more of jacob (in all his werewolf glory) hee hee

I love vampire movies.I grew up watching Buffy the vampire slayer,Interview with the vampire,Count Dracula,Blade,Underworld. All to which were more action packed. Twilight was more of a romance (no action) vampire film. I was not into the first few movies as they were predictable and boring in my opinion. But when the last one came out I'll admit I was impressed. I never read the books but heard they kept a lot out and of course reading a book is always better then the movie critics say.So I think for this one I'd prefer reading them.

I love all the twilight movies. I'm not a book person so I enjoy watching movies of books that are written.

When i first saw this movie i was shocked! (not in a good way), i really had my expectations set tat the movie would be great.. but was disappointed, i feel they should've used some different actors and changed some of the effects they used.. If you ask me i wouldnt see this movie again. Your better off with the book!

Um... So, everyone knows about the books, right? Bella Swan is a weak, stupid, blind little girl in high school. And, if possible, Kristen Stewart portrays Bella as even weaker, even blinder, and maybe even a bit stupider. I have nothing against the Twilight series. I thought the books were fabulous. The movie wasn't great, though. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are great guys. But do they deserve the hype? No. Does this movie deserve the hype? No. But that's what happens when you have a pretty good teen paranormal romance novel turn into a big hit that turns into a major box-office blockbuster hit. The casting choice: Good Lord. Kristen Stewart was a horrible decision. Did you know that Stephenie Meyer didn't even want Kristen to be Bella? Instead, she wanted Emily Browning - you know, the girl that played Violet in A Series of Unfortunate Events? The only emotion Kristen Stewart can portray is that of APATHY. *sigh* It's not a horrible movie. It's just.... not exciting. I'm only giving it three stars because the soundtrack is really good.

I read all the novels to this series and was extremely disappointed when I saw the films. I thought they were extremely funny and they did not follow the novel. If you have never read the book than you will really like the movie.

If you must watch this filth, do it only because everyone else has seen it and you feel left out. Or, watch it assuming it's a comedy and spend your time laughing at the poor acting, poor editing and the poor story.

If you're 14 you should love this movie, if you're an adult you should not. If you're a grown-up you should see it for the pubescent fodder that it is. The love story isn't realistic (and I'm not even talking about the fact that a vampire is involved), all the characters show the immaturity and selfishness of a teenagers, and some of the special effects are just so laughable. The only reason it's getting two stars is because I know 20 years ago I would have loved it.

While I am a huge fan of the Twilight books, I am not a huge fan of Kristen Stewart. She always looks constipated or something. However, the movie was very well put together and enjoyable. 4 Stars!

Totally loved it!! I was at the theaters waiting for it to start and bought my tickets in advance to make sure I got one!!

Surprisingly, I loved this movie. I am not big on vampires and the whole Twilight series, but I really liked this movie. I started watching it on a cruise ship, there was nothing better on. We had to go to dinner in the middle of it, but it was on again when we came back from dinner, and we watched it all from start to finish. The movie has a way of drawing you in, and you really get wrapped up in it.
